The flowers and leaves have been used topically for scratches, scrapes, skin, and nail fungus; as a tea, douche, or sitz bath for Candida overgrowth, ringworm, athlete's foot, and other fungus infections.
The showy, fragrant flowers range in color from almost white to pink or purple, with yellow stripes down the throat and darker purple splotches across the lower lip. An infusion of the flowers is a traditional remedy for cough.
(Not really a willow but the leaves look similar to willow).
